Carminho (Lisbon), daughter of fado singer Teresa Siqueira, is one of the leading voices of contemporary fado. She debuted at age 12 at the Coliseu dos Recreios and gained international recognition with Fado (2009) and Alma (2012). She has collaborated with artists such as Caetano Veloso and Pablo Alborán. In 2025 she releases her new album, Eu vou Morrer de Amor ou Resistir, a work that delves deeper into female narratives within Portuguese music and further expands her artistic universe. In 2026 she will present this new project live, opening a new international chapter that confirms her position as one of the leading European artists of her generation.
