León Benavente was formed in 2012 from the union of four key figures in Spain’s independent music scene—Abraham Boba, Eduardo Baos, Luis Rodríguez and César Verdú—and, since their self-titled debut in 2013, they have quickly established themselves as one of the essential bands in Spanish alternative rock, conquering major festivals, selling out venues and taking their live show to Latin America. With albums such as 2 (2016) and Vamos a volvernos locos (2019), which reached number one on iTunes and ranked among the country’s best-selling records, the band confirmed an upward trajectory defined by extensive touring and a strong connection with audiences. In 2022 they released ERA, a reflective work about endings and new beginnings, and in 2023 they celebrated their tenth anniversary with a special tour. In 2024 they release Nueva Sinfonía sobre el Caos, a direct and ambitious album that captures the pulse of the present and is currently being presented on an extensive tour across Spain and Latin America.
